Comentário
Quando se diz que algo é se afirma apenas aquilo que ele é, ou aquilo que ele é e ao mesmo tempo não é? Isto é, conceituar a essência de algo é dizer apenas algo afirmador sobre aquilo, ou aquela essência contém também algum aspecto de negatividade? Defendo que tudo que é parte da essência de qualquer ente finito afirma aquilo que esse ente é, e o coloca na existência. Dito de outra forma, nada pode existir na essência de qualquer coisa de tal forma que a negue, ou mesmo que coloque em risco sua existência, pois afirmar o “é” de algo significa dizer aquilo que esse algo efetivamente é, não aquilo que ele não é. O “não é” de determinado algo na verdade não pertence à essência desse algo, mas sim é um recurso linguístico de comparação desse ente finito com outro ente finito diferente dele.
Se tudo que existe existe necessariamente em Deus e através de Deus, e se o núcleo mais duro de sua essência é ser Potência absolutamente infinita de Agir, seja pelo atributo pensamento, seja pelo atributo extensão, seja por qualquer outro atributo, logo a essência de todo modo finito (isto é, todo ente) é ser Potência finita Agir. Dito de outra forma, enquanto Deus age infinita e exclusivamente pela necessidade de sua própria natureza e sem ser coagido por ninguém, seus modos agem de maneira limitada para continuar se colocando na existência. E essa Perseverança em continuar sendo pode ser definida como sua essência atual.
Aplique esse princípio também a esse modo finito chamado Humano, una ao que foi falado e comentado na letra “Beatitude”, e se terá uma definição bastante agonística do que é ser Humano: isto é, não existe vida sem luta. Seja empurrando uma pedra para fora de nosso caminho, seja matando uma planta ou matando um animal para comer e sobreviver, viver é exercer poder sobre o mundo, e onde quer que se olhe se vêem relações de poder. E é por isso que, obviamente em coerência com a Ideologia Anarquista, eu vejo o Socialismo como uma sociedade onde em primeiro lugar a “Potência das Multidões” (Potência esta que é coletiva e referida ao Humano) proposta por Spinoza (que não era Anarquista, até porque ele viveu no século XVII) é colocada em prática pelos Seres Humanos para que todos os Humanos tenhamos uma Potência de Agir ainda maior. Socialismo, a meu ver, é algo que diz respeito estritamente ao âmbito do Humano, motivo pelo qual, muito embora essa forma de organização social tenha impacto sobre outros modos de Deus, não é possível ter uma relação de absoluta Igualdade com absolutamente tudo. Tal foi o absurdo de bunda-molice e covardia que se chegou ao se odiar essa constatação tão elementar acerca da Vida, que por esses dias ouvi falar de um cidadão que apenas comia coisas que caíam “naturalmente” das árvores. A justificativa? Colher frutos seria um ato de “agressão” contra a “coitada” da planta! Como se para se alimentar não fosse preciso exercer poder sobre outros entes (aquela fruta que se esperou cair do pé é um ente também), e como se a plantação e colheita de vegetais e legumes não fosse um decreto de vida e de morte àquelas vidas. E mesmo ainda entre todos os humanos essa pretensa Igualdade absoluta não é de maneira alguma desejável: você deixaria sua criança pequena fazer o que ela absolutamente entendesse? Imagine o tipo de ser humano que você estaria criando se, por exemplo, não fossem incutidos valores sobre o que é certo e o que é errado no que tangem as relações sociais…
É por todos esses motivos que recomendo que todos assistam o filme “Capitão Fantástico” de Matt Ross, e depois meditem sobre o que é realmente a Vida: Emancipação Humana é transformar a Humanidade em cordeiros ou potencializá-la para que alcance patamares de existência cada vez maiores?

Commentary
When one says that something is does one affirm only that which that thing is, or that which it is and at the same time isn't? That is, to conceptualize the essence of something is to say only something affirmative about that, or does that essence also contains some aspect of negativity? I defend that everything that is part of the essence of any finite entity affirms that which that entity is, and puts it in the existence. Saying it in another way, nothing can exist in the essence of any thing in such a way that denies it, or even puts at risk its existence, for affirming the "is" of something means saying that which that something effectively is, not that which it isn't. The "is not" of a certain something in fact doesn't belong to the essence of that thing, but is otherwise a linguistic resource of comparison between this finite entity with another finite entity that is different from the former.
If everything that exists exists necessarily in God and through God, and if the hardest core of its essence is being absolutely infinite Power of Acting, be it through the thought attribute, be it through the extension attribute, be it through any other attribute, hence the essence of every finite mode (that is, every entity) is being finite Power of Acting. Saying it in a diverse way, while God acts infinite and exclusively by the need of its own nature and without being coerced by anybody, its modes act in a limited way in order to continue to put themselves in the existence. And this Perseverance in continuing to be can be defined as its current essence.
Apply this principle also to this finite mode called Human, unite it to what was said and commented in the lyrics "Beatitude", and one will have a very much agonistic definition of what it is to be Human: that is, there is no life without struggle. Be it pushing a rock out of our way, be it killing a plant or killing an animal to eat and survive, to live is to exercise power over the world, and wherever one looks one sees power relations. And this is why, obviously in coherence with the Anarchist Ideology, I see Socialism as a society where first and foremost the "Power of the Crowds" (this Potency being collective and referred to the Human) proposed by Spinoza (who wasn't an Anarchist, even because he lived in the XVII century) is put in practice by the Human Beings so that all the Humans may have an even bigger Power of Acting. The way I see it, Socialism is something that concerns strictly the range of the Human, this being the reason why, even though this form of social organization has an impact on other modes of God, it isn't possible to have a relation of absolute Equality with absolutely everything. Such was the absurd level of softness and cowardness that was reached by hating this so elementary aspect of Life, that one of these days I heard that some guy would only eat things that "naturally" fell from trees. The justification? Harvesting fruits would be an act of "aggression" against the "poor" plant! As if in order to feed it wouldn't be necessary to exercise power over other entities (that fruit one waited to fall from the tree is an entity as well), and as if cropping and harvesting vegetables and legumes wasn't an enactment of life and death upon those lives. And even among all humans this alleged absolute Equality is in no way desireable: would you let your small child do absolutely whatever it wanted? Imagine the type of human being you would be raising if, for example, values about what is right and what is wrong in terms of social relations weren't imbued...
For all these reasons I recommend everyone to watch the film "Captain Fantastic" by Matt Ross, and after that meditate about what Life really is: is Human Emancipation about transforming Humanity in lambs or potentializing it in order for it to reach ever greater levels of existence?
